The 1st Reunion of Armenians from Ethiopia took place in Glendale, California from August 3 to 5, 2001.

It was such a pleasure for YetovbaHayer to reunite with one another again -- after so many years. Some had not seen each other in over 35 years! There was full attendance for every function, with the picnic on the last day registering the largest attendance, close to 400 people. The oldest YetovbaHay was 80+ and the youngest was 5 months old! They had travelled from 10 different countries and some 12 states within the US.
